No affiliate cut on today's links — just the deals. Three markdowns checked today (Oct 16, 2026) on the merchants' own pages and live sale listings. Where a check couldn't confirm per-size stock, we say so — confirm your size on the product page before buying. Discounts are each merchant's own math off its own reference price.
HERO DEAL — The North Face Highrail Fleece Jacket — $94.99 at REI. A hooded, high-pile fleece mid layer in TNF Black at $94.99 vs $160.00 compared-to price — 40% off — shown live on REI's product page today, with the sale marked as ending Oct 19. Standard fit; the fabric blend is mostly organic cotton with recycled polyester, per REI's specs. Nike Polartec Trail Fleece 1/4-Zip Jacket — $74.98 at Backcountry. A midweight Polartec fleece quarter-zip (100% polyester, regular fit) at $74.98 vs $149.95 list — 50% off — on Backcountry's live men's sale listing this morning, which showed 25 ratings for the item. The catch: the price was confirmed on Backcountry's live sale listing; the product page text our check pulled didn't display a price or a size grid, so per-size stock in M was NOT confirmed.
