Daily Drop #21: adidas Court Sneakers $24, REI Soft-Shell Hoodie $99.93, Helly Hansen $174.87

No affiliate cut on today's links — just the deals. Three verified markdowns, all checked live this morning (Oct 9, 2026). The two REI discounts are REI's own math off its compared to references (former selling prices); the adidas discount is flagged below with exactly what its reference means. No promo codes needed on the verified prices.

HERO DEAL — adidas VL Court 3.0 Shoes — $24.00 on eBay (sold directly by adidas). adidas's clean court sneaker at $24.00 vs the $70.00 reference on the live eBay listing — 66% off by our math ((70−24)/70 ≈ 65.7%). US 9 was in stock this morning (also 7, 7.5, 8.5–13 except 8 and 14, which are already gone). Free shipping; 30-day returns with seller-paid return shipping; eBay Money Back Guarantee. The catch: the $70 is eBay's recent sales price provided by the seller (adidas) — a seller-provided reference, not a struck-through former price of this listing. It's a genuine clearance price on a quality court sneaker, but the % is measured against that reference. Deal blogs also claim code COUNTDOWN20 (expires 10/11) drops it to ~$20 — we could NOT test that code in a cart, so treat it as unconfirmed and verify at checkout. REI Co-op Activator Soft-Shell Hoodie (Men's) — $99.93 at REI. REI's own soft-shell hoodie at $99.93 vs the $169.00 compared to price on REI's live sale listing — Save 40% by REI's math ((169−99.93)/169 ≈ 41%). Carries REI's Top Rated badge: 8 reviews, 4.9/5. Backed by REI's 365-day member / 90-day non-member return policy. The catch: sale pricing is per-colorway — check your color on the page. We verified the discount from REI's live sale listing, not the individual product page, so confirm your size in the product page's size selector before buying. Find it on REI's soft-shell sale page: https://www.rei.com/c/soft-shell-jackets/f/scd-deals

Helly Hansen Odin Backcountry Softshell Jacket (Men's) — $174.87 at REI Outlet. Backcountry-grade softshell at $174.87 vs the $350.00 compared to price on REI's live sale listing — Save 50% by REI's math, exactly. RECCO reflector equipped. REI's 365-day member / 90-day non-member return policy. The catch: this is REI Outlet — closeout stock, so no restocks when sizes go. Only 2 reviews (both 5/5), so social proof is thin. As with the Activator, we verified from the sale listing — confirm your size on the product page. Find it on REI's soft-shell sale page: https://www.rei.com/c/soft-shell-jackets/f/scd-deals
